Record-triggered flows run when a record is created, updated or deleted. Before-save flows update fields on the same record quickly. After-save flows create related records, send alerts and update other objects.
Screen flows guide a rep through a process step by step, with the questions and fields in the right order. Scheduled flows run on a set day and time for the records that need a follow-up or a cleanup.
Flows fail for reasons that are easy to miss: a record with no address, a validation rule the flow did not expect, or two flows updating the same field. We trace the error to its cause and fix it there.
