Start from:

1. Add the systems you use

2. Arrange and connect

How it works
  1. Move

Drag any system to where you want it.

  2. Connect

Tap a system, press Connect in the bar at the top, then tap the system its data goes to.

  3. Connect several at once

Turn on Select several, tap each one, then press Connect.

  4. Change or remove

Tap a system, then use the panel under the map to make a line two-way, flip it, or remove it.

Scroll sideways to see the whole map.

Add your first system above, or start from an example.

Click any system to rename it, connect it, or remove it. Arrows show which way the data goes; two arrows mean it syncs both ways.

3. Save it, or send it to us

Keep it for your team:

We are Journeys Through Search, a CRM integration team with 900+ integrations completed. Send your map and we will set up a free call to talk it through: what to connect, what is leaking, and how we would fix it. Honest advice, no obligation.

Your map is saved in this browser as you go. Nothing is sent to us until you choose Send. Please list systems only, no patient or customer details.

What is a tech stack diagram?

A tech stack diagram, also called a technology stack diagram or software stack diagram, is a picture of the software a business runs on and how the pieces connect. Each box is a system. Each arrow shows which way data moves between two of them.

Seeing the whole stack at once shows what a list of tools hides: systems that do not talk to each other, data typed in twice, and the gaps where leads, payments and reports fall through.

What to put on your diagram

The builder sorts systems into five layers, left to right, in the order a lead moves through them.

  • Marketing

Ad platforms, the website, analytics and search tools: where people first find you.

  • Lead management

Forms, chat, call tracking, texting and email: how people reach you.

  • Your CRM and server

The CRM where every lead and customer lives, and any middle layer that moves data into it.

  • Client management systems

EMR, billing, payments and insurance checks: the systems that run the work after the sale.

  • Reporting and dashboards

Sheets, data warehouses and dashboards that pull the numbers together.

How to make a tech stack diagram

  1. List every system a lead touches

Start at the ad click and end at the final bill. Include the small tools, like a chat widget or a texting app.

  2. Group them by layer

Marketing, lead management, CRM, client systems and reporting. The builder colors each layer for you.

  3. Draw how the data moves

An arrow shows which way data goes. Two arrows mean the systems sync both ways.

  4. Mark the gaps

A system with no line in or out, or data someone types twice, is where leads and numbers get lost.

Tech stack diagram templates

Examples A, B and C in the builder are real client tech stacks with the names removed: ad platforms, chat, forms and call tracking feeding a CRM, synced with an EMR and billing, with dashboards on top and conversions sent back to the ad platforms. Load one as a template, then rename, move or remove anything to match your own stack.

A marketing technology stack diagram

For a marketing team, the diagram that matters follows one lead from the ad click to revenue and back again: ads to the website, the website to forms, calls and chat, those into the CRM, the sale recorded, and the result sent back to the ad platforms so they bid for customers instead of clicks. If any arrow on that path is missing, the reports are guessing.

Questions

Is the tech stack diagram builder free?
Yes. It is free to use, with no sign-up and no account.
Where is my diagram saved?
In your own browser, as you work. A share link holds the whole diagram inside the link itself, so nothing is stored on a server, and nothing reaches us unless you choose to send it.
Can I download or print my diagram?
Yes. Download it as an image, print it, or copy a share link that opens the same diagram for anyone you send it to.
Are there tech stack diagram templates?
Yes. Start from Example A, B or C: real client tech stacks with the names removed. Change anything, or start from a blank canvas.
Can you build the connections on my diagram?
Yes. That is what we do, with 900+ integrations completed. Send your diagram and we will set up a free call to talk it through.
