What a marketing attribution dashboard needs underneath

A marketing attribution dashboard is only as good as the data on each lead. So the work starts with tracking. Every form, chat and call carries five hidden fields: first and last click landing page URL, first and last click referring domain, and the converting page URL. UTM values are mapped to CRM fields too.

With that in the CRM, the dashboard groups leads by channel, UTM campaign, form and referral source, and shows what each one turned into. Referral sources that send leads by phone or in person are tracked in the CRM, so they sit next to paid and organic channels.

See our marketing attribution service for how the tracking is set up. In Salesforce, the dashboard can live inside Salesforce dashboards. For Zoho CRM or another CRM, we build it with our sister company TrussCharts (trusscharts.com).

Marketing attribution dashboard FAQ

What does it track on each lead?

First and last click landing page URL, first and last click referring domain, the converting page URL, and the UTM values, on every form, chat and call.

Can it show referral sources next to ads?

Yes. Referral sources tracked in the CRM show next to paid and organic channels.

Is this the same as the ad spend dashboard?

They work together. This one shows where leads come from. The ad spend attribution dashboard adds spend, so you see cost per admit or customer.

We use Salesforce. Do we need a separate dashboard?

It depends. In Salesforce, much of this can live inside Salesforce dashboards, and we build those too. A TrussCharts dashboard suits Zoho CRM or other CRMs, and people who do not have a Salesforce license.

Do we need a data warehouse?

It depends on the case. Some dashboards read straight from the CRM and platform APIs, and others need the data landed in one place first. We tell you which after the free call.

How is it priced?

By project, not by the hour. The first call is free, and you get a project quote after it.
