Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Journeys Through Search LLC ("we", "us" or "our"), a Florida limited liability company, collects when you visit journeysthroughsearch.com (the "site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
The site is a marketing website with a contact form and free tools. There are no user accounts, logins or purchases on the site.
Information you give us
When you send the contact form, we receive:
- Your first and last name and email address
- Your phone number and company name, if you give them
- The systems you pick from the list on the form
- Your message
- A system map, if you built one with our tech stack diagram tool and chose to send it with the form
The form is processed by Jotform, which emails the submission to us and adds it as a lead in Pipedrive, the customer relationship management (CRM) system we use for our own sales. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share in that email or call.
Please do not include patient information, health information or other sensitive personal details about anyone in the form or in emails to us. If a project needs that kind of information, we arrange it under a written agreement first (see "Our client work" below).
Our free tools
Tech stack diagram tool
The tech stack diagram tool runs in your browser. The map you build is saved only in your browser's local storage on your device, so it is there when you come back. We do not receive it.
If you copy a share link, the whole map is stored inside the link itself, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of a link to our servers, but anyone you give the link to can open the map. Nothing from the tool reaches us unless you choose to send your map with the contact form. The tool asks you to list systems only, with no patient or customer details.
Calculator
The calculator on the site works out its estimate in your browser from the numbers you enter. Those numbers are not sent to us.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, for example which pages people visit and how they found the site. Google Analytics runs in Google's Consent Mode, and its cookies stay off until you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Reject, analytics cookies are not set. If you reject after accepting earlier, the Google Analytics cookies already set on your device are removed.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Reject and do not show the banner.
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We do not use advertising cookies on the site. The contact form, the tech stack diagram tool and the accessibility tool use only what they need to work, such as saving your map or your settings in your browser.
Call tracking
We use a call tracking service called CallTrackingMetrics, and it runs only if you click Accept on our cookie banner. When it runs, it may show you a different phone number from other visitors so we can tell which pages and campaigns lead to calls. When you call one of those numbers, CallTrackingMetrics records details such as your phone number, the time and length of the call and the page you came from, and shares them with us.
If you click Reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, call tracking does not run and you see our main phone number. If you reject after accepting earlier, call tracking stops from the next page you open.
Live chat
We use a live chat service called Tawk.to, and it loads for every visitor, whether or not you accept cookies. It tracks the page you are on and the page you came from, sets its own cookies to keep the chat working, and keeps the messages you send in the chat and any details you choose to give, such as your name or email. We use this to reply to you and to see which pages lead to conversations. Depending on where you are, the chat may ask for your consent before a conversation starts.
Accessibility tool
The site offers an accessibility tool (Sienna) that lets you change things like text size and contrast. It runs in your browser and may remember your settings on your device. Its code is loaded from a public content delivery network (jsDelivr), which, like any server your browser contacts, receives standard technical information such as your IP address.
Information collected automatically
As with any website, the site's hosting provider, Vercel, receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
How we use your information
- To reply to your message and talk with you about your project
- To keep track of our conversations with you as a possible client
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, if you have accepted analytics
- To keep the site running and secure
- To comply with the law and protect our rights
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only for that purpose:
- Jotform, which processes the contact form and emails it to us
- Google reCAPTCHA, which checks contact form submissions for spam
- Pipedrive, the CRM where we keep track of leads and conversations
- Google, for Google Analytics, if you accept analytics cookies
- Vercel, which hosts the site
- CallTrackingMetrics, for call tracking, if you accept cookies
- Tawk.to, for live chat
- Our email provider, which handles messages you send us
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale or other transfer of our business.
Our client work
This policy covers the site only. When we work on a project for a client, any data we handle for that client is governed by our contract with the client and, for healthcare clients, the business associate agreement (BAA) we sign with them, not by this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions and related emails for as long as we need them to talk with you and keep a record of our business dealings, or as the law requires. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see below). Data kept in your own browser, such as a saved map or your cookie choice, stays there until you clear it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop contacting you
You can turn analytics off at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer. Residents of some US states may have additional rights under the laws of their state. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep some information where the law requires it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we receive. No website, email or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The site links to other websites that we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
