These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of journeysthroughsearch.com (the "site"), run by Journeys Through Search LLC ("we", "us" or "our"), a Florida limited liability company. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These Terms cover the website only. If you hire us for a project, that work is governed by the separate written agreement we sign with you.

Using the site

The site gives information about our services and offers a contact form and some free tools. You must be at least 18 to use it. Please use it lawfully, and do not:

  • Try to break, overload or get unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it
  • Send spam, malicious code or false information through the contact form
  • Copy or scrape the site in bulk
  • Enter patient information, health information or other people's sensitive personal details into the contact form or the free tools

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the site at any time, and we may block access by anyone who misuses it.

Free tools

The site includes free tools, such as the tech stack diagram tool and the calculator. They are provided free of charge, as a convenience, and "as is".

  • Calculator. Results are rough estimates based only on the numbers you enter. They are not a prediction, a guarantee or a quote, and real results will differ.
  • Tech stack diagram tool. Your map is saved in your own browser, and we do not keep a copy unless you send it to us. It can be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices, so download or save anything you want to keep. Anyone you give a share link to can open the map in it.

You are responsible for what you put into the tools and for how you use their results. How we handle information in the tools is described in our Privacy Policy.

No professional advice

Articles, case studies, guides and other content on the site are general information. They are not legal, regulatory, compliance, financial or other professional advice, and they may not fit your situation. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions based on them. Reading the site or sending us a message does not make you our client.

Intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, designs and the tools, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own use and share links to them. You may not copy, republish or sell our content without our written permission. Names and logos of other companies mentioned on the site belong to their owners, and mentioning them does not mean those companies endorse us.

You keep ownership of anything you send us or create with the tools. By sending it to us, you let us use it to reply to you and discuss your project.

Links to other websites

The site links to websites and services run by other companies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products, terms or privacy practices. Using them is at your own risk and under their terms.

Disclaimer

The site, its content and the free tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be available at all times, error free or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that its content is complete or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Journeys Through Search LLC and its owners, employees and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site, its content or the free tools, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Because the site and its tools are free, to the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some places do not allow certain warranties to be excluded or liability to be limited, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case, these limits apply to the fullest extent the law allows.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you have a concern about the site, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms, we do not give up the right to enforce it later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated Terms apply.
