An Agentforce agent is set up in Salesforce with topics, instructions and actions. Topics define the jobs the agent handles. Instructions tell it how to behave inside each one. Actions are what it can do: run a flow, call Apex, use a prompt template, or look up records. Requests run through the Einstein Trust Layer.
We start by picking the job. An agent works best with a clear scope: answering service questions, qualifying inbound leads, or helping employees find records. Discovery writes down the questions it should handle, the data it needs, what it may change, and when it hands off to a person.
Then we build in a sandbox: the topics and instructions, the flows and Apex behind each action, the permissions the agent runs with, and the data it can reach. We test it against real questions from your team, including the ones it should refuse or hand off, before it goes live in the channel you choose.
Agentforce is not the only option. We also build custom AI agents on Claude, connected to Salesforce through MCP or the Salesforce API, for admins, developers and reps. Agentforce runs inside Salesforce with its own licensing and trust layer. Claude agents fit work across systems and development work in the org.
