Journeys Through Search

Salesforce implementationFrom discovery to go-live, built and tested before your team logs in.

We run the whole implementation: discovery, design, a build in a sandbox, your data moved in, your other systems connected, testing, deployment to production and training. Then we stay on for support after launch.

  • Led by a Salesforce partner
  • Built and tested in a sandbox first
  • Data migration and integrations included
  • Training and support after go-live

How an implementation runs

  1. 1
    Discovery

Your process, your data and the systems Salesforce has to work with

  2. 2
    Design

Objects, fields, stages, users and integrations planned and written down

  3. 3
    Build in a sandbox

Configuration, flows and code built away from live data

  4. 4
    Migrate and test

Data loaded and checked, integrations and test scenarios run

  5. 5
    Go live and support

Deployed to production, team trained, support after launch

The phases, in order

Discovery comes first. We meet the people who will use Salesforce, write down how leads and customers move through your business, and list the systems and data that need to come along.

Design turns that into a plan: the objects and fields, the stages a record moves through, what carries over when a lead converts, who can see what, and which integrations are needed.

The build happens in a sandbox. Fields, layouts, flows, Lightning Web Components and Apex are built and tested there, away from live data. Historical data is mapped field by field, loaded, and checked so created dates and activity history come with it.

Before go-live we run test scenarios on the integrations and automations, remove sample data, and deploy to production. Rollout can go team by team or location by location. After launch, your team gets training and written steps, and we stay on to fix and extend.

Salesforce implementation FAQ

What does a Salesforce implementation consultant do?

Runs each phase: discovery, design, the sandbox build, data migration, integrations, testing, deployment and training. We do all of it, so there is one team from the first call to support after launch.

Do you build in a sandbox first?

Yes, where your edition includes one. Changes are built and tested in the sandbox, then deployed to production.

Can you move our data from another CRM or spreadsheets?

Yes. We map each field, clean and deduplicate the records, and load them with created dates and activity history kept, so your reports still work.

Can we go live one team or location at a time?

Yes. The rollout can happen in stages, by team or by location, so each group is trained before it switches over.

How long does it take, and what does it cost?

It depends on what is in scope: the number of teams, the data to move and the systems to connect. You get a project quote after the free call. Our implementation guide and cost pages explain what drives both.

What happens after go-live?

We stay on. Fixes, new fields, new automations and new integrations are handled as your team asks for them.

Do you sign a BAA?

Yes. We sign BAAs for healthcare work.

Are you a Salesforce partner?

Yes. Journeys Through Search is a Salesforce partner.
