HiLite + Salesforce integrationAdmissions data in your financial platform, without retyping it
HiLite is the financial platform your billing team uses for patient estimates and revenue. We connect it to Salesforce: admissions sends the patient to HiLite from the record, changes keep syncing, the HiLite status follows the Salesforce stage, and one click opens the patient estimate in HiLite with single sign-on.
- Send to HiLite from the lead or opportunity
- Field changes synced to HiLite automatically
- Open the patient estimate with Salesforce SSO
900+ integrations completed · Salesforce partner · We sign BAAs
- • HiLite patient ID
- • New patient
- • Name, email, phone and address
- • Date of birth
- • Insurance and payment method
Billing starts by retyping what admissions already has
Admissions collects the patient, the insurance and the facility in Salesforce. Billing types it all again into HiLite to build the estimate. Names, phone numbers and dates of birth drift apart, duplicates appear, and nobody knows which system is right.
What it does
What the HiLite + Salesforce integration handles
Send to HiLite
A widget on the lead and opportunity sends the patient to HiLite and shows whether the send worked.
Auto-sync on change
Name, email, phone, address, date of birth and insurance changes in Salesforce are pushed to HiLite.
Facility, practice and program mapping
Each facility mapped to its HiLite practice and program IDs, with level of care picked from a list that depends on the facility.
Status from the stage
The HiLite record status follows the Salesforce opportunity stage, so billing sees where each patient stands.
Open in HiLite with SSO
Salesforce acts as the identity provider, and the button opens the right patient estimate in HiLite, not a blank one.
Facility changes
When the facility changes on the record, the change is detected and the patient re-sent to the right place.
Duplicates prevented
Rules that match existing HiLite patients before a new one is created, including on re-admits.
Errors logged
Sync failures logged in Salesforce, so they are seen and fixed.
Try it: connect two systems
Click and drag the blue plug back, then let go to connect HiLite to Salesforce.

Built for real life
HiLite + Salesforce integration: the hard parts, already solved
Fields set only at creation
Some HiLite fields can only be set when the patient is created. We map those up front and check them before the first send.
Phone formats
Phone numbers stripped of formatting and country codes, with the account phone used when the opportunity has none.
Lead conversion
HiLite fields and the facility carried from the lead to the opportunity on conversion, so nothing is lost.
Re-admits
The existing HiLite patient looked up and reused, with data quality flags on the record.
A new HiLite portal
A second Open in HiLite button for a new portal, alongside the existing one, while teams move over.
User access
A permission set for HiLite access and an SSO checklist for onboarding new staff.

HiLite + Salesforce integration FAQ
Is HiLite an EMR?
No. HiLite is a financial platform for estimates, billing and revenue. Your EMR, like Kipu or Sunwave, connects to Salesforce separately.
What gets sent to HiLite?
The patient, contact details, date of birth, insurance and payment method, and the facility, practice, program and level of care, with updates when they change.
Does anything come back to Salesforce?
Yes. The HiLite patient ID is stored on the record, so the Open in HiLite button lands on the right patient estimate and re-admits match the existing patient.
How does SSO work?
Salesforce is the identity provider. The HiLite patient ID is passed in the sign-in, so users go straight to the patient estimate.
Do you sign a BAA?
Yes. We sign BAAs for healthcare work.
How is it priced?
By project, not by the hour. The first call is free, and you get a project quote after it.
